Uganda Society for the Protection and Care of Animals
The Uganda Society for the Protection and Care of Animals (USPCA) is Uganda's leading voice for animal welfare. They work to prevent cruelty, promote compassion, and provide essential care for companion animals across the country through hands-on rescue, rehabilitation, and focused community outreach programs.

Donations with Impact
Founded in 1997, the USPCA is dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of dogs and cats in Uganda, where domestic animals often lack legal protection and face neglect, abandonment, and abuse. Based in Kampala, the USPCA operates The Haven, the country's largest animal shelter, giving hundreds of animals a second chance at life.

Your support focuses on three key areas:

Providing safe shelter, two daily meals, vaccinations, and essential veterinary care to over 350 animals.
Community spay/neuter and rabies vaccination clinics for community-owned pets whose owners cannot afford private services.
Outreach programs to promote responsible pet ownership and kindness to animals, working to create a more humane society for all animals in Uganda.
Make a General Donation
When you make a general donation to the USPCA it immediately funds their most urgent needs on the ground, delivering the food, medicine, and protection that animals need in Uganda.
