Soft Power Health Uganda

Soft Power Health (SPH) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to strengthening primary healthcare in the rural communities surrounding Jinja, Uganda. Since opening the Allan Stone Community Health Clinic (ASCHC) in 2006, SPH has moved beyond simply treating illness to actively empowering communities through education and prevention.

Donations with Impact

Located in the village of Kyabirwa, the ASCHC facility receives an average of 150 patients daily and serves nearly 50,000 beneficiaries every year. By emphasising prevention and education alongside treatment, SPH tackles major health challenges like malaria and malnutrition at the community level.

Your contribution directly sustains:

  • Frontline Medical Staff: Your donation pays the salaries of the Ugandan medical doctors, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff who treat over 150 patients each day.

  • Essential Supplies & Medicines: Donations fund the procurement of high-quality treatments and medical supplies, including life-saving malaria medication and vaccines.

  • Community Prevention: Funds support the vital outreach programs that go into villages to provide health education, distribute subsidised mosquito nets and run family planning clinics.

  • Patient Access: Contributions help keep clinic fees affordable and subsidised, preventing financial barriers from keeping sick individuals, especially mothers and children, from receiving necessary care.

Support Soft Power Health's clinic operations, securing the continuous, quality healthcare that thousands of Ugandans rely on.
