At the USPCA animal shelter, puppy arrivals can be highly vulnerable to Parvovirus - a devastating but preventable disease.
Our goal is to ensure every puppy receives a full course of vaccinations (2-3 doses) starting from 6-8 weeks old to build their immunity and give them a fighting chance at a long and playful life.
How Your Donation Helps
By choosing this tangible donation, your funds go directly towards the medical supplies needed for the vaccination cycle.
Your contribution of $15 NZD (approx. 30,000 UGX) covers a full round of vaccinations for one puppy.
Vaccinations are administered at two-weekly intervals to ensure maximum protection.
Impact sends these funds monthly to ensure the shelter can keep doses in stock, allowing them to vaccinate every puppy the moment they are ready.
Donation Transparency
To ensure the sustainability of the USPCA puppy vaccination program, each tangible donation includes a small $3 NZD buffer (bringing the total to $15 NZD). This buffer is designed to account for external variables beyond our control, such as fluctuating exchange rates between the New Zealand Dollar (NZD) and Ugandan Shilling (UGX), as well as seasonal variations in vaccine sourcing costs.
Rest assured that the full $15 NZD of your donation remains dedicated strictly to this program. Impact Aotearoa does not take a commission or fee for our operations.
Uganda SPCA
Donations made to the Uganda Society for the Protection and Care of Animals are used for charitable purposes outside of New Zealand and therefore will not be eligible for tax credits with the IRD.
The Uganda Society for the Protection and Care of Animals vaccinates puppies on a monthly basis. This ensures that your donation makes a direct and immediate impact.
