Aphasia & Disability Biking Group Canterbury
The Aphasia and Disability Biking Group Canterbury was formed by stroke survivors to help others living with Aphasia and physical disabilities to participate in weekly bike riding activities.
Donations with Impact
The group aims to create a more inclusive and supportive community for everyone to enjoy the benefits of outdoor recreation. Every contribution ensures that cost and equipment are never barriers to participation.
Your donation will be applied to:
Purchasing and maintaining adaptive bike equipment, including recumbent bikes, which provide the stability and accessibility necessary for many of their riders.
Subsidising the financial burden for members to participate in the group's annual bike trip, fostering camaraderie and celebrating progress through shared outdoor recreation.
Covering essential costs related to safety, training, and maintenance to keep the entire fleet of adaptive bikes running smoothly year-round.
